PVI's experience is particularly strong in the larger-scale rooftop PV installation segment. Over the past few months, they have also dedicated their efforts to expanding their portfolio to include ground-mounted PV installations, which has allowed our Greenbuddies team to be involved in significant projects in this area and to join forces with PVI specifically on several projects.
The first joint project we completed for PVI at the end of 2022 was also their very first solar freefield—a PV plant with an installed capacity of 4.15 MWp in Klagenfurt. Following the successful completion of this installation, we signed a framework agreement for further PV projects, this time focusing on rooftop installations, in early 2023.
In the course of a few months, we have built a total of five rooftop PV installations and one ground-mounted PV plant as part of this cooperation, with another ground-mounted PV plant currently under construction. The other projects are now successfully completed and will contribute to sustainable renewable energy production through their operation.
The satisfaction of both parties with the cooperation to date is high, and plans are in place to continue the development of solar installations on both rooftops and vacant land areas. In addition, our Greenbuddies team, together with PVI, intends to participate in several large EPC tenders, showing our ambition to be at the forefront of innovative solar project development in Austria and to further strengthen our partnership.
