Market Footprint 3Q 2024: New markets and projects across Europe
What did the third quarter of 2024 bring? Expansion into new markets and the completion of major solar projects across Europe. And not only that. In addition to spreading solar energy, we focus on the quality and reliability of our installations, not just on reasonable prices. We are also expanding our technological know-how and our portfolio of satisfied clients. Take a look at our reference projects for 3Q24.
Floating PV plant in Germany installed by Greenbuddies was connected to the grid
Germany's first tracked floating photovoltaic system in Hoym has been connected to the grid, transforming a former mining pit into a hub for clean energy. The 1,6 MWp plant installed by Greenbuddies, spans 7.655 square meters and features advanced vertical sun-axis tracking technology to boost energy efficiency. Greenbuddies oversaw this installation for our client, Floating Solar, and the project developer JM ProjektInvest. The installation generates 2,2 GWh annually, enough to power nearly 700 households. This innovative project not only advances renewable energy but also promotes sustainable land use by repurposing brownfield sites for clean energy production.
