Form-Tec conducted a pilot project in Oberhausen, Germany, where they set up a this innovative carport covering four parking spaces. The purpose of this pilot was to identify and address any design flaws before transitioning to large-scale production. The project's construction was a resounding success and was an interesting collaboration between the Form-Tec team and the Greenbuddies Charging team. In just two days, the project was fully constructed and ready for use.
Form-Tec has big ambitions for this project. They aim to focus on building carports at major shopping centers, not only in Germany, where they will collaborate with the Greenbuddies Charging team to supply modules, inverters, and other materials for these installations. Moreover, they don't intend to limit their scope to shopping centers but plan to provide solutions for industrial complexes and large corporate parking facilities.
