The year 2024 was filled with diverse projects, innovations, successes, and hard work for Greenbuddies. We successfully completed over 70 PV installations, including 20 ground-mounted parks, 38 rooftop installations, and 5 solar carports. Additionally, we upgraded or repaired several other solar power plants. Our total installed capacity in 2024 exceeded 200 MWp, with nearly 170 MWp from ground-mounted plants, over 30 MWp from rooftops, and just under 7 MWp from carports.
In the Czech Republic, the solar installation environment remains unique, particularly due to its regulations and legislation. On the domestic market, we focus primarily on complex EPC turnkey deliveries, while continuing our consulting and development activities. Since 2021, we have obtained construction permits for approximately 40 MWp in the country, and we currently have over 550 MWp of projects under development. This year, we operated in 18 European countries, leaving a significant footprint beyond our domestic market. Apart from the Czech Republic, the most projects were completed in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Our work goes beyond construction—we are also dedicated to sharing inspiring ideas. On our blog, the most-read articles this year featured completed projects with our popular drone photos and videos, as well as insights on technological innovations and legislative changes in the photovoltaic sector.
